Capitol Hill This Week - What to Watch For

Below are the U.S. House and Senate activities currently scheduled this week that relate to Mississippi River Basin water resources.  As in most of the recent weeks, many of the hearings deal with the President's proposed fiscal year 2015 budget for select agencies, with the exception of Thursday's House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee's hearing on disaster mitigation and planning and House Agriculture Committee's hearing on the state of the rural economy. Links are provided to the relevant committee hearing pages, and, if applicable, to pieces of legislation.
